Competitive Skating Video/Photo Gallery
Here are some of my videos and photos of my skating programs from the past, when I used to train and skate competitively. I hope you enjoy them. It has brought back so many memories of how hard I worked, and the special people who were part of my journey, but are no longer here.

COSTUME GALLERY (IN HONOR OF THE LATE DESIGNER DEL ARBOUR)
I was sad to hear about the recent passing of our costume designer, Del Arbour, after she fought Alzheimer’s for years. Our appointments with Del to order new costumes were always a highlight of our skating seasons. She would set aside the whole morning for us, encouraging us.
While she watched videos of our skating programs she would start sketching, based on the mood and music for the program and our individual personalities. Next, she took precise measurements. Our favorite part was picking out colors and fabrics and colors in her showroom. I remember one time when we told her she reminded us of Edna from The Incredibles and she showed us a printout on her wall where somebody else had said the exact same thing! We still have the giant pencil she took off the bookshelf in her office and gave to us. She also used to always let my sister pick out a skating dress and gave it to her for free.
Skaters know that it's always an exciting time at the rinks when new costumes come in just in time for final program run-throughs right before the first competition of the season. We were always so proud to wear our new Del Arbour costumes and still have every one she ever made for us. Hopefully, we will have a chance to give them to someone special one day -- maybe our own kids. Those costumes will always be special and one-of-a-kind to us. Unique. Just like Ms. Del. 💙
